Deerfield Beach, FL - The producers of Pulse on America, an innovative, educational broadcast series are pleased to announce an upcoming episode featuring the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. The University will be showcased in a segment on “Medical Schools of Distinction”
The show will be aired once on The Travel Channel, once on The Learning Channel, and before and after CNN Headline News in selected cable television markets.
It is projected that by the year 2020, there will be a shortage of approximately 200,000 physicians in the U.S. However, the reality is that U.S. medical schools only have room for about 17,000 students per year.
American University of Antigua College of Medicine (AUA) was founded in response to the escalating physician crisis facing this country. The curriculum, based on the U.S. medical school model, provides students with a superior education and enables them to become successful, licensed physicians in the U.S.
As the only hospital-integrated medical school in the Caribbean, AUA offers students the opportunity from the first semester to have contact with patients at the local hospital.
