Streaming21 Launches R&D Center in Singapore for IPTV Technology Innovation

Streaming21, the world’s leader in broadcast-quality streaming solutions, launches a new research and development center today in Singapore. The Center will focus on the design and development of its core products for IPTV, Mobile TV and Digital Home solutions. The establishment of Streaming21’s new R&D center has received strong support from the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), the lead government agency in Singapore responsible for planning and executing economic strategies to enhance Singapore's position as a global hub for business and investment.

Jacqueline Tan, Deputy Director, Infocomms & Media Division of the Economic Development Board said, “The EDB welcomes Streaming21’s decision to base its Asia Pacific R&D Center for its IPTV and Mobile TV technology development in Singapore. With over 20 years of technical experience in the area of streaming and IP communications, he has a solid history of leading multinational engineering teams to build and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction on large-scale service delivery. Lee has published more than 20 journal and conference papers and holds multiple international patents.
