Sept. 29, 2007 - PRLog -- (Hollywood, California) – Hollywood & Highland Center will welcome Korloff – a rare and exquisite luxury boutique from Paris.   Korloff, which is known for its extraordinary and exceptional pieces of couture, jewelry, timepieces and accessories, will open Spring 2008.

From Saint Petersburg to Paris, the Korloff saga has always been closely entwined with the history of the biggest black diamond in the world  -- the 88 carat Korloff Noir. The legend suggests that it brings happiness, good luck and prosperity to all those coming into contact with it.  Bewitched by this awesome stone and its mysterious past, Daniel Paillasseur founded the Parisian company in 1978 that was to bear its name.  Today, the Korloff Noir is part of his heritage and is the very soul and talismanic symbol of that company.  This was how a legend was to grow out of a true story resulting in the creation of inimitable couture, jewelry, timepieces and accessories.  Today Korloff distributes its fine jewelry, Swiss watches, diamonds, haute couture and accessories through more than 52 exclusive boutiques worldwide and over 450 points-of-sale spanning the globe.

“We are excited to become a part of Hollywood & Highland Center.  It is a natural fit for us. Although Korloff has been around for over 30 years, we are new to the USA so it is important for us to be in a property that is a destination location for tourists coming from markets where Korloff maintains a strong presence in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and South America.” Said Chris Meek, Vice President, Business Development for Korloff USA. “For visitors familiar with our brand, and to acquaint Korloff with the community, we couldn’t imagine a better property and group to partner with.”
