Abhisamaya is a step forward in CKSL's mission to make the precious jewels of the Prajna Paramita Buddhist tradition accessible to India.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Sep 28, 2007 – Choe Khor Sum Ling (CKSL), Bangalore has announced the release of the first volume of its magazine - Abhisamaya (Clear Realization). The release of Abhisamaya is inspired by CKSL's vision to reintroduce the precious Prajna Paramita Buddhist tradition in India. The Prajna Paramita Buddhist tradition, spearheaded by ancient universities of Nalanda and Vikramasila, represented the intellectual and spiritual heritage of India for many centuries. Abhisamaya is a step forward in CKSL's mission to make the precious jewels of the Prajna Paramita accessible to India. The first edition of Abhisamaya attempts that through a few glimpses into this vast heritage. CKSL hopes that Abhisamaya emerges as an effective medium to present and interpret the Prajna Paramita tradition and that it captures and reflects the rekindled spiritual climate in India.
