RALEIGH, N.C – Ned Jennings, principal at FreemanWhite, an architectural, engineering, interior design and consulting services firm for healthcare organizations in the United States, has announced that the firm has been contracted by Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, Pa., to design a $51 million expansion of its emergency department.  The project entails a three-story, 148,000-square-foot building addition to the hospital, which will increase the capacity of the emergency department, the radiology department and associated support services, as well as the creation of a 250-car parking garage.  Founded in 1923, Doylestown Hospital is a 196-bed regional healthcare resource with 380 physicians in 42 specialty areas and a member of the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Network.
