Amara Development Spear Heads another big Singing competition on its 3rd year

Amara Development has now entered the Music Industry as one of its branch in Career Development.

PRLog (Press Release)Sep 27, 2007 – CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES - Colonnade Mall, one of the local malls owned and operated by Don Jose Avila in the downtown part of the city holds its yearly competition in its activity center. A bunch of young and talented individuals are each year found to develop their skills and talents as different coaches in the amateur industry help develop the newly born talents of the mall.

In the year 2005, Mr. and Mrs. John and Jean Thompson has launched the Pick a Song Contest in Barangay Sambag 2 - a competition aimed to develop young talents in the local city region. With much support and enthusiasm, the organizers of Colonnade Mall's events supported the said Pick a Song Contest, through the request of Mr. Aroy Fernandez, production manager of the Pick a Song Contest.

With much success, Mr. Ruben Boyet Lim having been the first Grand Champion of the Season 1 of the Pick a Song Contest, the major sponsors decided to push through for a second season of the contest. With guidance from the Administrative Officer of the Pick a Song Contest, Ms. Marque Smith, a singer from Las Vegas with her own proven track record, the coaches and organizers of the Pick a Song Contest did well in their endeavors.

For the 3rd year of the Pick a Song Contest, Amara Development - the partner arm of the Organizer Mr. Raymond Gomez in the preparation and implementation of the yearly competition of the Mall has been tasked by the Pick a Song Contest to spearhead its operations for the year 2007 - 2008.

With much trust and confidence in the creativity and dynamism of the President of Amara Development, Mr. Lourd Leo James Homecillo - All is looking forward for the success of the season 3 of the Pick a Song Contest.
