“Samsung is the first manufacturer to radically rethink the design of the traditional print solution,” said Kristie Radtke, Product Manager – Print Solutions, Samsung Electronics Australia. “These refined printers are a response to consumer demand for a desirable desktop that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We have seen a consumer lifestyle trend towards coordinating in the home – LCD TV, computer monitors, the home PC and now their printing device. We’re giving consumers high design, simplicity and ease of use through our new range of printers.”
Samsung’s latest printers are designed for the tech-savvy consumers who value individual style as much as function and performance. Both the ML-1630 and SCX-4500 -

Samsung have accomplished a balance between a simple, sleek exterior and a high-technology interior. At only 11cm, the ML-1630 mono laser print solution is the world’s slimmest print solution in its class, and only two-thirds the depth of its closest competitor.
The Samsung ML-1630 mono laser and SCX-4500 multifunction models print pages with a clean, crisp finish and with minimal operational noise. Both devices are capable of printing 16 pages per minute at 600 x 600 dpi, while the multifunction SCX-4500 model has the added features of copying and scanning. Both printers have a toner
cartridge yield of 2,000 pages and can easily clear a paper jam with their semi-automatic docking cassette.
The Samsung ML-1630 mono laser and SCX-4500 multifunction printers are available from 24 September. The ML-1630 has a $299.00 RRP, and the SCX-4500 has a $399.00 RRP.
