Americana Community Bank (ACB) announced today it has established a memorial fund to honor Peter Hausmann, a victim of the I-35W bridge collapse. Hausmann, a computer consultant with Assurity River Group, had worked with his client, ACB, during the past three years, performing technology security audits in each of the bank branches and serving as a technological consultant.
To honor Hausmann’s memory and provide financial assistance to his family, ACB has created a memorial fund in which it will match up to $1,000 in donations. Additionally, since Hausmann upheld the Rotary International’
Hausmann’s boss, Jeff Olejnik, president of Assurity River Group, described him as, “an honest and trustworthy person; good husband and proud father of four; and a man of great integrity and generosity.”
“With sorrow, we mourn the loss of a respected friend, Peter Hausmann,” said Al Obernolte, president of Americana Community Bank. “We hope the contributions from the memorial fund, established in honor of Peter’s life and commitment to service, will help his family. We’re proud to show our support for our neighbors here in Minnesota.”
