Editors And Writers Create And Perform In 24-hour Theater

Top editors at ISCSPress participated in Guaranteed Over Night Theater in Boston

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Sep 26, 2007 – LITTLETON, MA – Steve Glines, Editor-in-chief at ISCSpress, and several members of the ISCSPress staff participated in bringing Guaranteed Overnight Theater (GOT) to Boston over the weekend of September 21-22 2007.
GOT brings together theater artists to create theater literally overnight. Playwrights, directors, and actors are teamed on Friday evening, commissioned to create a short play that will be rehearsed and refined through Saturday, and performed live on Saturday night!

This Philadelphia phenomenon has been an ongoing delight to playwrights, actors and the theater going public for over 10 years. It’s a combination of improvisational theater and tag-team writing. Writers, directors and actors appeared at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education on Friday September 21 and begin writing a series of short plays. At 3:00 PM on Saturday rehearsals begin and the plays were performed at 8:00 PM that evening.

“It was the most fun I’ve had in years,” Said Steve Glines, editor-in-chief of ISCSPress. Gloria Mindock, editor of the Červená Barva Press imprint said, “I’m thrilled to be participating in live theater again.” Mr Glines went on to say that he expected to sponsor another GOT event in January.
