Founders Bank Plaza Ground Breaking FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sep 25, 2007 – Sugar Land, Texas – Curtice Commercial Real Estate is pleased to announce the start of construction for a new 30,000 square foot office building / banking center at the southeast corner of Sweetwater Boulevard and Lexington Boulevard in First Colony- Founders Bank Plaza. The Sweetwater Lexington tract is nearby the Methodist Hospital and will be the “Boardwalk and Park Place” address in Sugar Land. The new building was designed by Jim McGregor and Charles Browne with Browne, Penland, McGregor, Stephens Architects. The general contractor is The Crossmark Group, Ltd.. The Spanish styled stone and brick building will feature a dominant “clock tower entry” at the Sweetwater / Lexington corner.
Anchoring the site will be a brand new community bank, Founders Bank that will occupy approximately one third of the building. The building is scheduled to open in spring 2008.
