Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies, a division of Pitney Bowes that provides mailstream technologies to the high volume segment to drive their customer communications, has appointed Ian Davidson as Vice President, DMT International.
Ian joins Pitney Bowes from GB Group Plc, a data services company specialising in products and services supporting organizations with their customer and prospect management, where he was Managing Director of the Data Integrity Division.
Ian has a track record of senior management positions in the customer communications industry and is no stranger to Pitney Bowes. He first joined the company in 1988 after a four-year career as a professional cricketer with Lancashire County Cricket Club. Ian has worked both in the UK and Europe for Pitney Bowes, including a stint in the US as Vice President, Enterprise Accounts and Software Systems, DMT. He also worked for Switzerland-
Ian comments: “I am delighted to have rejoined Pitney Bowes. The company is growing fast and is rapidly extending its reach across all aspects of the customer communications and mailstream marketplace, spanning all channels physical and digital. Recent technological advances, both from Pitney Bowes itself and from other leaders in the various marketing communications sectors, are revolutionising the way companies and public sector organisations are talking with their customers, especially in terms of sophisticated personalisation and segmentation. This a particularly exciting time to join Pitney Bowes as it drives growth both organically and through acquisitions, such as MapInfo and Emtex. I am pleased, therefore, to hold such a key role with one of the chief pioneers in the field, and look forward to playing a significant part in driving forward the company’s future.”
