TEMPE, AZ – LifeLock CEO Todd Davis announced today that the organization will distribute 700 tickets throughout the greater Kansas City community for the LifeLock 400, NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race and other surrounding NASCAR events at Kansas Speedway the weekend of September 29-30. The LifeLock 400 is the third race in NASCAR’s 2007 Chase for the NEXTEL Cup.
“Our company is always looking for opportunities to give back to local communities, especially when some of the people we can help represent local law enforcement,”
LifeLock will provide Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City with tickets to the NASCAR Busch Series race on Saturday, September 29 as well as tickets to the LifeLock 400, NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race on Sunday, September 30. Children are most likely to reach their full potential when they have caring adults involved in their lives. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City provides an opportunity for these children to form friendships with qualified adult volunteers. These friendships are one-on-one, supervised, developmental relationships that are proved to increase children’s chances for success.
Additionally, LifeLock will provide the Kansas City Metropolitan Chiefs and Sheriffs Association with tickets to the LifeLock 400 NASCAR race weekend at Kansas Speedway.
“As President of the Kansas City Metropolitan Chiefs and Sheriffs Association, I want to thank Todd Davis and the entire LifeLock staff for their consideration of local law enforcement with the generous donation of race tickets to support the LifeLock 400 NASCAR event weekend at Kansas Speedway, ” said North Kansas City Police Chief Glenn Ladd.
With 160 members from more than 50 police departments, the Kansas City Metropolitan Chiefs and Sheriffs Association organizes the Metro Squad, an investigative team that can be called upon to respond to serious crimes within the metro area. The best investigators from each member department are selected for additional training and then become ‘on-call’ for major crimes. The Metro Squad is especially valuable to smaller police departments that have limited numbers of detectives.
