Luxury Brands Take to the Skies with Oasis' All New Duty Free Shopping

Oasis Hong Kong Airlines (Oasis) is set to launch its in-flight duty free shopping service, starting this September, offering its passengers a wide range of world-class products.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Sep 21, 2007 – Oasis Hong Kong Airlines (Oasis) is set to launch its in-flight duty free shopping service, starting this September, offering its passengers a wide range of world-class products.

The glossy Duty Free catalogue, which will be available in ever seat pocket, features the most popular retail items from a huge variety of categories: Cosmetics and Skin Care; Fragrances for Women; Fragrances for Men; Jewellery; Watches; Travel Accessories; Children's Gifts; Chocolates; Oasis Exclusives; and Liquor.

Major prestigious brands available include Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clinique, DKNY, Georgio Armani, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Swarovski, Lacoste, Guess, Akita, Hello Kitty and Chivas Regal.

To further celebrate the new duty free service, Oasis is offering all passengers a fabulous shopping treat: bonus gifts.

With every purchase of over HK$800, passengers will receive a free Akita SportBug clip-on FM radio with time and calendar display, alarm and stop watch functions - valued at HK$160.
For spends between HK$1201 and HK$1500, passengers will receive a free Akita RadioTime auto-scan FM radio alarm clock featuring a built-in speaker, detachable earphones and a secure belt clip, worth $210.
And for purchases over HK$1501, passengers will receive a free Akita Optimouse mini wireless optical computer mouse, valued at HK$300.

The luxury branded products will be available for sale on all Oasis flights, between Hong Kong and London and Hong Kong and Vancouver.

Chief executive officer of Oasis Hong Kong Airlines, Mr. Stephen Miller, says the duty free shopping service is part of the Airlines' plans to continually enhance the passengers' in-flight experience, which already includes two complimentary meals, drinks and multi-channel video entertainment.

"The introduction of our Duty Free Shopping demonstrates our commitment to providing incredible value on airfares, without compromising on the comfort and style experienced during the flight. Oasis is fast becoming the smart way to travel as passengers recognize that they can enjoy the full service offered by other carriers for a much lower price," said Mr. Miller.

On top of the extensive range of popular products, Oasis offers exciting choices in its Oasis Exclusives category.

Passengers can purchase the iconic scaled Oasis 747-400 Aircraft available exclusively for Oasis customers or an Oasis-branded electronic SIM card back-up key chain to save those important numbers.
