PRLog (Press Release) - Sep 18, 2007 -
Pat Fraley, master voice over instructor and author, is featured this week on the renowned Voice Over Experts Podcast, ( http://podcasts.voices.com/ ), the most popular voice over podcast for beginner and professional voice actors.  In addition to instruction, audio book production work, recording automatic dialog replacement (ADR) for Hollywood starts such as Tim Allen, and his prolific writing career in the field of voice over, Pat Fraley is a master of dialects and accents.

In Pat Fraley’s lecture entitled, "Dialects and Accents”, listeners will discover what it means to truly adopt an accent that is consistent as well as researched and internalize key elements that create believable interpretations and characterizations.

Pat intimates, “Another reason for the necessity of dialects skills, and being able to whip them up rapidly is the Audiobook Market. There were around 4,000 books recorded last year. My friend and president of Blackstone Audio, Craig Black, told me that this figure will jump to 24,000 in four years. Why?  The interest and success of downloadable audiobooks, which is virtual inventory for the publishers.”

Pat Fraley will be hosting an Audiobook Master Event workshop in Los Angeles later this month on September 29-30th, 2007.  His podcast episode on Voice Over Experts is a taste of what students can expect should they attend one of his in person events.  A similar workshop focusing on accents, dialects and audiobooks is scheduled to take place in Buffalo, NY on November 3rd-4th, 2007.

As a contributor to the Voice Over Experts Podcast, Pat Fraley will be lecturing on a regular basis, helping people to understand, develop and succeed in the business of voice acting and voiceover.  Since the lectures are available in the form of podcasts, the lessons are hosted online and can be subscribed to through the Apple iTunes Directory, to be enjoyed at any time.

The Voice Over Experts Podcast can be found and subscribed to for free in the iTunes Podcast Directory and online at the Voices.com Podcast Center.
