Tech Company Uses Linux Conference To Collect Food For Needy Families

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 18, 2007 – N2Net is recognized as a national leader within the Open Source community.  When alerted via YouTube to the Columbus Salvation Army’s current food shortage, company management decided to use their expertise with Internet resources and influence with the Linux community to generate support.

The company has challenged conference attendees (expected at nearly 2,000) to each bring a canned food item to the N2Net exhibit booth at the conference.  If this goal is reached, N2Net will contribute an additional $250 to the Salvation Army.

The Ohio Linuxfest is the largest community focused conference for Linux and Open Source in the Midwest, providing a unique opportunity for IT professionals, software developers, students and solution providers to meet and learn.
