First Equity and Capstone Management LLC, a full service residential and commercial mortgage company, has named Craig A. Roll as managing partner. Mr. Roll has thirty years of business and management experience, and is an alumnus of both Abilene Christian University and the University of Houston. He has been involved in the start-up and operation of several ventures over the years, choosing to concentrate on real estate and financing. Mr. Roll brings to First Equity years of experience in corporate management and specific expertise in the mortgage industry.
He managed First Equity Mortgage since 2003 and grew it from a small residential mortgage brokerage, into a company with multi-state capabilities. Additionally, he organized the firm’s commercial division and fostered its growth into the current ability to offer commercial financing nationwide. With the recent formation of the joint venture with Capstone Management, the company now provides management consulting to real estate developers assisting them with structuring their project for optimum financing. Under his guidance, the company is on track to originate well over $200 million in the next twelve months and will participate as a joint venture partner with several projects. “These are exciting times in our industry and we are poised to grow significantly in the next year...” stated Roll. “…There have been several departures from the market by some of our competition.
