Tesco Personal Finance Launches Motor Insurance Comparison Website

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 14, 2007 – Tesco Personal Finance announces the launch of Tesco Compare, a new car insurance comparison site, which will go beyond current price comparison. This is the first time a UK supermarket will be offering personal finance products from a variety of different brands, playing to Tesco’s strength as a retailer.

Tesco Compare.com (http://www.tescocompare.com/)marks a big step forward in its offering. It will not only compare motor insurance policies by price but it will also compare over 25 policy features across insurers so that customers can find the right insurance for them.

The new and free service offers customers insurance comparisons from a great range including products not available from other sites1. Tesco Compare.com currently lists details of around 30 different products, such as Churchill, AA, More Th>n, Sheilas’ Wheels and many more. Tesco Compare.com will extend the number of its motor insurance partners in the near future. The site, which is backed by Royal Bank of Scotland, will be available to customers from 14th September 2007.
