Aimee Linde is an up and coming Author, with her first amazing book called KobiKobis Island; The Journey Begins written for kids between the ages of 9 and 17. The book is published by PublishAmerica.com and is now available on-line. The actual release date is November 5th, 2007 and will at that time be available through major book stores on-line, though pre-sales at a discount are on sale now.
The book takes place when Teag Trager and his family take a vacation and they suddenly find themselves shipwrecked on an undiscovered, mystical island. Without their parents, the Trager kids must take a journey across the island where danger is abundant and turning back is not an option. As Teag, his brother John, and his sister Suraionee make their way across this magical land, they encounter new friends to help them along their way. But when a dragon suddenly takes Teag, all hope seems lost. Thought to be dead, Teag and his newfound rival are left to their own resources to fight past the magical creatures and find their way through this unknown land. Learning along the way a little more about himself and his family history, Teag finds he has magical abilities of his own on this island and is forced to face tragedy and his worst nightmares to save his family and friends.
This book is the first of a series. Aimee Linde is now working on the second book.
The book is well written and thought out, but best of all this exciting adventure captivates its readers immediately. All of KobiKobis Island readers, thus far, say they just couldn’t put it down.
