Sept. 13, 2007 - PRLog -- WAKE FOREST, N.C.  –TheClassicalStation.org announces today that its weekly program “Preview!” will feature an interview with cellist Zuill Bailey. The interview will air Sunday, September 16.

During the show, WCPE’s Larry Kirwan will sit down with Bailey and discuss his latest project, a studio recording of the complete Bach cello suites. Kirwan will also talk with Bailey about his September 19 concert with the Triad Chamber Music Society. Bailey will perform Bach’s Suite for Solo Cello in C Major, as well as works by Vivaldi, Rossini, and Paganini with Cellist Grace Lin Anderson and Pianist Inara Zandmane. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the UNCG School of Music Recital Hall.

“I have enjoyed Bailey’s heartfelt and energetic playing style for years,” says “Preview!” host Deana Vassar. “He invokes a wide range of emotions with each note played.”

A Virginia native, Bailey has established himself as one of the most talented and sought-after cellists today. The Roanoke Times says Bailey is "one of those rare talents whose technique seems utterly natural, and which apparently long ago permitted him to do seemingly anything on the fingerboard.”

“Preview!” airs every Sunday evening from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. (ET) and presents the latest in classical recordings and upcoming classical events.
