Digiticed Music FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PR Log (Press Release) –
Sep 12, 2007 – DigiticedMusic.com has launched its website at http://www.digiticedmusic.com, an independent record label that combines the “open source” concept with the speed, promotion, feedback and distribution possibilities of the Internet. Their catalog is available for download, CD purchases and licensing with absolutely DRM (Digital Rights Management) copy protection.
DigiticedMusic.com is a digital music company formed by an independent musician for independent musicians. The business model is based on a new model for a music company that uses the “Creative Commons” license to enable it’s musicians to offer their fans a better listening experience. DigiticedMusic.com gives the user the option to listen to complete albums on the Internet not just 30-second teasers. Owner Mark Eldred says, “Listen to the music, evaluate it, buy it and tell others about it. We want our artists to get back in touch with their fans by offering great “album” material that gets the listener excited about the music by listening. We believe in the artists and their whole package not just a song by song download.” Reports are showing that Internet sales of music are accounting for more than a tenth of the music market and those numbers are growing every month. DigiticedMusic.com is an independent entity that will harness the Internet and its limitless new opportunities that are abundant as the music industry is being plunged into new and exciting times. DigiticedMusic.com supports artist friendly fair-trade music, sharing all revenue equally with recording artists. The royalty scheme is a simple 50/50 split with no registration fees to the recording artists for signing up. Artists get half of every purchase and unlike agreements with most record labels, the artists own and keep all the rights to their music.
