He also thinks that the new printer is likely to facilitate Xerox’s proprietary solid ink technology, which uses solid ink sticks in place of complicated and messy toner cartridges. Solid ink has been proven to offer consistent results and vibrant colors in Xerox printers, and the forthcoming Xerox Phaser 8860 has potential produce those same high quality results.
