The “Way to Happiness” is plain common sense—ain’t it?

It’s a helpful little book that reminds us—and gives a little direction. Now with Public Service Announcements which will be showing on media outlets around the country.

Sept. 11, 2007 - PRLog -- How can a person make smart, correct decisions in life? How can a person be truly happy when they are surrounded by immoral, sinful behavior that is just everywhere today?

Celebrities or many leaders are no example. They do darn stupid things that involve drugs, sex and money that are bad for themselves, their families and their groups. It’s so bad, that we've almost become de-sensitized to bad behaviour. Yet, by survey Americans are not happy, at least not as happy as they want to be.

Is it possible to be happy?

Our churches have promised happiness but even their promises have been shut down by laws so they can’t help like they want to. In 1980, the United States Supreme Court ruled that a public school in Kentucky could not post the 10 Commandments because this would violate the separation of church and state required by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Happiness cannot be gained alone. That’s a big part of the problem.

It is difficult to be happy without others. You just can’t be happy when you have everyone around you doing crazy things that threaten your survival. That is why the decay of moral standards and the failing influence of the organizations that have long helped us keep on the right path is a problem. Like watering plants with salt water, our lives shrivel into unhappy death.

If we could only use our common sense. If we could only to help each other make common sense.

How can we help each other live happy lives?

A common-sense simple guide that isn’t religious, and is at the same time not unreligious that is called, The Way to Happiness, can be used by anybody of any race or religious background to help themselves, their families and friends. Twenty-one little but powerful rules give you a recipe for a wonderful happy life if you also help others around you. It’s so simple it is used by children and so dependable adults can count on it to improve the ability to understand and make decisions in life that will keep everyone going on the “way to happiness.”

The Way to Happiness is really a list of reminders, like notes on the refrigerator door, and some direction, so you keep in mind the common sense things in life that bring happiness. If you use common sense values to understand life, and remind others around you, then you can live a happy life.

Distributed by the Way to Happiness Foundation International, an organization that respects all religions, The Way to Happiness book gets results when used in any community. A Captain in the police department said, “The Way to Happiness has positively impacted several areas of my division. In these key areas, I have seen the project contribute to a decrease in crime, as well as result in positive improvement among members of the community. In one particular area, there was a decrease in crime by over 30 percent in a six-month period."

Alex Haley, author of Roots, said, "The goals and the patterns and the methods of The Way to Happiness seem to me to be about as dramatic a response to the prayers of the forefathers as could possibly be contrived...methodic, faceted ways to improve the moral, the physical, the intellectual aspects of the culture in which we live."
