PRLog -- TopSoft, Ltd a leading provider of desktop imaging applications, has announced the release of TopOCR 2.5, a free application that performs Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on documents using either a Digital Camera or Smartphone. TopOCR allows captured documents to be saved as HTML, searchable PDF, or raw text for further processing. It also comes with a Text To Speech interface so that text can be saved as audio and transferred on an MP3 player. TopOCR supports 11 European languages and includes an interactive Spell-Checker for all 11 languages.
