Of course Carl had seen his work, but he continued to evolve his own designs for ten years never realizing the resemblance, until someone pointed out to him years later that his sculptures and tables incorporated the Prairie period of Frank Lloyd Wright, but indeed were a step beyond him into the New Millenium.
