Sept. 9, 2007 - PRLog -- Frederick, Maryland – From the air, the landscape -- carved paths that spell out Baltimore's professional sports teams -- is impressive! From the ground, the adventure is just as much too. Visitors to Summers Farm, Frederick’s rural farm-turned agri-entertainment destination, celebrates Baltimore's Ravens and Orioles with 9 acres of twisting and turning bliss for all ages. The 2-in-1 maze is just one feature at the farm's 11th Annual Fall-For-All Festival which opens on September 22. Summers Farm anticipates a record crowd with educational field trip opportunities and farm-fun activities designed for all ages in the six-week harvest festival that runs through the end of October.

The Fall-For-All Festival offers a mix of field fresh activities, keeping pre-school children happy, school-aged kids intrigued, and adults amazed. Taking a new leap in family fun entertainment, the 100-acre farm on Butterfly Lane has added a 65 x 45 foot-long gigantic jumping pillow – the only one in Maryland! The Jumping Pillow, a one-of-a-kind, inflatable pillow-shaped jumping structure, brings families together for good, old-fashioned fun in the great outdoors.

“Every year, we unveil new attractions that spell fun for kids and adults alike,” said Teresa Summers, Fall-For-All Festival creator. “This year’s Jumping Pillow will have everyone jumping to their heart’s desire like never before!”

Nothing announces fall more than Summers Farm’s long-standing traditions at the festival. A 9-acre corn maze phenomenon greets explorers at the Summers Farm Maize. Carved into a Baltimore Orioles/Baltimore Ravens theme, this year’s stalked odyssey covers 2.5 mile paths that twist and turn in a 2-in-1 maze adventure.

“Designed for all ages, our original, 9-acre corn maze includes a small maze carved with pathways ideal for youngsters, but the maze’s super challenging pathways are ideal for teens and adults. You could spend ½ an hour or 3 hours getting lost among the stalks in this directionally-challenging combination maze,” added Summers.

Old-fashioned fun couldn’t be more joyous when you jump on board the sturdy hay wagon to pick the finest of pumpkins at the 12-acre patch. Of course, who can resist shopping for gifts and fresh baked goods at Grandma Ruth’s Country Store & Bakery! Concessions are always available when hunger strikes after a day of engaging activity including 8 slides, pig races, pedal carts, farm animals, and more.
