PRLog (Press Release) –
Beijing, September 2007 – The Beijing Hutong School will celebrate its 2 year anniversary with a party on Saturday, 8 September 2007, at 7pm on its campus in central Beijing close to the historic sight of the Drum tower, a few minutes by bicycle north from the Forbidden City. Its excellent location enables the Hutong School to present its students with an authentic Beijing experience. Instead of being inside one of the numerous recently built high-rises somewhere on the city’s periphery, the school’s campus is located inside a newly renovated Chinese courtyard which can only be found inside the second ring road. The architecture of the building fascinates both laymen and experts and it has been remarked that the Hutong School has one of the most beautiful campuses in Beijing.
However, the Beijing Hutong School is much more than a school with a nice campus: through its core service, the integrated internship program, the Hutong School actively promotes the exchange of interns between China and the rest of the world. In the past two years, the Hutong School has picked up more than 200 students at the airport, arranged 213 internships, organized living communities in modern Beijing apartments and taught several thousand hours of Chinese classes. This focus on service and support during the students’ stay makes it possible for them to concentrate on the things the students themselves deem the most important: sight-seeing, friendships, studying Chinese, travelling or professional development. Whatever the individual priorities, a positive attitude is enough to make your stay at the Beijing Hutong School a success. Apart from its range of services the Hutong School distinguishes itself from its competitors through its business philosophy. The Hutong School is aware that its responsibility goes beyond the provision of a great service. It believes that by promoting international exchange, tolerance among people increases while fear of cultural differences is being reduced. The Hutong School has gained a reputation for itself through its professional, customer-oriented service. It is, however, the school’s self-image as a bridge between China and the rest of the world that gives the Hutong School a special place in the exchange of the cultures of the Orient and the Occident. With the Beijing Olympics shifting the spotlight on China in 2008, the Hutong School’s scope is expected to widen even more. # # # The Hutong School organizes internships in combination with Chinese classes for students, graduates and young professionals who want to gain working and living experience in China. We will organize an internship at a local or international company in Beijing, provide accommodation and teach you Chinese. # # # + Share This Article Email to a Friend Email to Author Previous News Next News
