FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) – The Clare Archaeological & Historical Society will officially launch its Autumn/Winter Lecture Series 2007/2008 at 11am in Clare Museum on Friday 14th September 2007. The Civil War executions of two Clare men, post-famine photographs of West Clare and the built heritage of Clare's coast will feature as part of the six-month series at Clare Museum commencing on October 8th 2007. The media is invited to attend the photocall. Interview opportunities will also be provided.

The photocall will be attended by Mary Kearns, Honorary Secretary of the Clare Archaeological & Historical Society; John Rattigan, Curator, Clare Museum; and Edel Greene of Clare Museum and Clare Archaeological & Historical Society.

WHERE:
Clare Museum, Arthur's Row, Ennis, Co. Clare (see Notes to Editor for directions).

WHEN:
11am, Clare Museum, Friday 14th September 2007

Coming from Limerick - follow the N18 into Ennis towards Galway, turning right at the traffic lights (just beyond St Flannan's College) onto Clon Road Mor. Proceed along Clon Road Mor, and after passing through a minor roundabout, take the first left. Passing through a second roundabout will take you into a public car park at the back of the museum, which will be the bluegrey building facing you.
