YourLostPets Is now Live.

Chardon, OH – August 14, 2007 – There are a lot of pet rescue sites on the web today. Most of those sites are the same in theme. Most are for just cats and dogs with simple newspaper type classified advertisements with maybe one picture. Those sites are also cluttered with advertisements, sponsors and popups that distract visitors and clients alike.
  ”We wanted to be different” Says Daniel Lowery, creator and founder of YourLostPets.com “As an owner of a lost pet, who just wants the pet back home I would really not want to deal with all that” Daniel also goes on to say that when a client registers their pet they get there own Url with the pets profile. “That was the most important part of creating YourLostPets.Com. I wanted pet owners to have their own full webpage and pet profile with no distractions.”  
  When a pet profile is created or viewed on YourLostPets.Com you see the pets profile and pictures and that’s it. Something that Daniel says is an essential part of our site. “I did a search for a cat on the internet’s biggest pet rescue site and everyone had this small ad for that pet with flashing banners and advertisements everywhere.” That is when Daniel decided it was time for a change. “I can see putting advertisements on the main pages and sub-pages, but when you click on a pet, you are looking for pet information not what is playing at the movies.”
But don’t let that simplicity make you think that’s all YourLostPets.Com is about. Daniel also says that his website is about pets and for pets and their owners. It’s a site for all pets. Dogs, Cats, Birds, Horses, Rabbits, Reptiles. If it’s a pet you can create a profile of them. Also it is not just for lost pets, as hence its name. It’s for found pets and pets in need of adoption. Breeders of pets can also create a profile of there pets that there selling. YourLostPets.Com also has some extra features such as live chat, forum, blog and photo gallery.
YourLostPets.Com does charge only a nominal fee for posting a pet profile of which the first one hundred profiles are free. After that, one dollar of every profile will be donated to a pet charity to be decided by visitors who take part in that survey. Daniel goes on and says “That’s something we wanted to do. Give back to the pet welfare community. We did narrow down a list of who but as they say let the voters decide.”  But anyone who just loves pets can visit the sight for its free chat, forum, blog and photo gallery and wealth of useful information.
