Broadband Package Launched For Gamers

Gaming enthusiasts may be able to enjoy a smoother online gaming experience through a new broadband package that has been launched

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) – A new broadband package specifically targeting online gamers has been launched by Freedom2surf recently, and according to officials from the company the new package will make online gaming a smoother, trouble free, and altogether more enjoyable experience. The name of the broadband package is simply 'Broadband 4 Gamers' which is abbreviated to BB4G. According to Freedom2surf this is an optimum broadband package that will really benefit gamers, offering smoother and less troublesome connections to improve any gaming experience.

The package offers a number of benefits, including free set up if you sign up to a minimum six month contract. Customers will enjoy an 8MB connection, and for £24.99 will receive a 50MB bandwidth. For an addition six pounds per month this can be increased to a bandwidth of 100MB. According to officials from Freedom2surf this broadband package can prove invaluable to anyone that find their gaming experience 'laggy or choppy', and will offer a quick connection with the fastest speeds possible to gaming servers.

According to the Freedom2surf website: 'Typically, we see ping times up to 50% lower than standard connections and only two hops between your router and the game server. In fact, the termination point of BB4G ADSL is so close to our racks of gaming servers that you could touch them both!'

There are some things that potential consumers should bear in mind, however. For instance, the speeds that will be received will be dependant on a number of factors, and this includes the customer's proximity to the local exchange as well as the availability of the service. The service is also only available to existing non business Freedom2surf customers at present.

Yvan Bamping broadband comparison site http://www.broadband-expert.co.uk suggested gamers look at unlimited or high download limit packages since downloading and playing online games requires large amounts of data to be downloaded. A number of unlimited download limit broadband packages are now widely available in the UK: http://www.broadband-expert.co.uk/broadband/unlimited .
