Baby Planet Boutique was founded by Danielle Burgi. She has two children, Nathan, three, and Emily, one and a half. Burgi was inspired to open Baby Planet Boutique in May 2004 when her son was born. She found out firsthand how difficult it is to find specialized children’s products in local stores. As well, her son Nathan has a neurological disorder and severe developmental delays. Burgi decided to open an online store to provide parents with a convenient way to shop for unique baby products, while also allowing her to stay home and care for her children.
Baby Planet Boutique has had tremendous success in the online marketplace, and Danielle Burgi is very excited to be nominated for the Mompreneur of the Year Award. “This award would allow us to take our business to the next level. We would use it to bring in even more wonderful products, as well as expand into a much-needed bigger office space,” says Burgi.
