Old Fields, WV - When most people think of organic gourmet coffees, they almost always think of the regular coffees.  At the other end of the spectrum lies the humble de-caf.

Contemplated and then forgotten, de-caf coffees have endured a legacy of lacking in taste and character.  True Blue Coffee Roasters, located in Old Fields, WV, recently set out on a mission to correct this legacy and introduce America to the de-caf once again.

“We have recently acquired a new de-caffeinated coffee that we are sure consumers will love,” Linda Keller, Executive Vice President of True Blue Coffee Roasters said.  “Our new premium gourmet organic de-caffeinated Ethiopian Sidamo is really opening peoples eyes to the great taste that a good de-caf can possess.”

Ethiopian coffees are known for their great taste and explosive characteristics.   “This new organic Ethiopian Sidamo is de-caffeinated using the Swiss-Water Process,” Ms. Keller said.  “The Swiss-Water process leaves an incredibly clean green coffee with all of the interesting and vital characteristics of the coffee left intact.  We were pleasantly surprised to find this de-caf retained the qualities that people look for in a great Ethiopian coffee.”

To introduce their customers to this exciting gourmet organic de-caffeinated Ethiopian Sidamo, True Blue Coffee Roasters has decided to feature it as their “Coffee of the Month” for September.  “We will be putting this coffee on sale during September to give customers a chance to enjoy its citrusy undertones and cocoa-like aftertaste,” Ms. Keller said.  “One taste of this explosive de-caf and people will be re-evaluating their reluctance to purchase and drink de-caffeinated coffee.”
