What happens to the forgotten children who suffer while an army of grandparents are willing to be mobilized to protect them? Grandparents are very concerned by these figures. “We urge Mr MacAskill to look very closely at the role of grandparent’s in the early detection and protection of our children in these circumstances. There is a gap in their protection that only grandparents can only fill because of their unique relationship with their grandchildren.
