Honolulu’s Intercultural Communications College (ICC) is offering immediate assistance to students who have been affected by the sudden closing of the Hawaii Business College.
Intercultural Communications College is offering free tuition to Hawaii Business College students who would like to enroll in COMM 105 - Public Speaking, a three-credit university course accredited through Upper Iowa University, but given at ICC, near the Ala Moana shopping center.
ICC is also offering Hawaii Business College’s international students reduced rates on a full range of English as a Second Language programs, including the English for Business and TOEFL test preparation programs. In addition, ICC is offering free counseling to F-1 visa international students on how to maintain their student status within the U.S. Immigration regulations.
“Our hope is that this effort will provide some relief to those students who have been affected by this sudden closing and give them the opportunity to continue their education without interruption,”
