Huntington Beach, California - Two reading teachers, Walter C. Waid and Jordan H. Price have developed a reading improvement program for problem readers based on the work of Dr. Muriel Bruno an educational psychologist who died in 2001. Dr. Bruno developed hand-eye-ear coordination exercises and techniques for dyslexic, ADD, ADHD, special needs and problem readers. The program is called "TRIP" Targeted Reading Improvement Program.
"TRIP" is available as a DVD for home computers. It contains 20 three part lessons of instructional techniques and exercises plus a 30 minute video tutorial of how to use the lessons. Mr. Price and Mr. Waid said they created "TRIP" to give homeschooling parents professional material and techniques at a low cost to help their special need kids. It is just as effective for adults, teens and anyone with reading problems. Even beginning readers would benefit from this program.
