An inflatable ball that literally lets you walk on water is being launched for the first time in the UK on September the 25th at the Birmingham NEC Leisure Industry Week.
Users can walk, run, roll, flip and spin in these balls which could easily be described as human hamster balls (on water). Surprisingly you can be fully clothed and will not even get wet.
Users are zipped into the 2 meter diameter balls made from very strong and resistant material called TPU polyether. They are called ‘Waterwalkerz’
Waterwalkerz plan to get them into UK theme parks, holiday centres, swimming pools, beach fronts etc when we can all have a chance of walking on water.
Bristol entrepreneur Angus Lancaster, 29 is spearheading the Waterwalkerz campaign and launch. He said “I’ve been living in Japan, South Korea and China for 5 years where these are already very popular, I am very excited by the possibilities for Waterwalkerz in the UK and am delighted with the interest that we have already had. You can visit the website at www.waterwalkerz.com for more information, videos and pictures.
