Aug 22, 2007 – Kent, WA, August 22, 2007 – Kent Station and Duke’s Chowder House are teaming up Wednesday, August 29 to honor Kent’s Little League All-Stars to celebrate their hard work this season. The State Champion All-Stars wrapped up their 2007 season by making it to the final game of the Northwest Regional Tournament in San Bernardino, California, finishing just shy of earning a spot in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
In honor of the team’s valiant effort, Kent Station and Duke’s Chowder House will host a celebration next Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at the Kent Station fountain stage in front of AMC Theaters. Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke, Kent Station General Manager John Hinds and All-Stars Manager Steve Wright will speak at the celebration.
