Actor Art Swenson of Recon 7 Down to voyage under water toTristan da Cunha from NY harbor in Uboat.

PRLog (Press Release) – Aug 20, 2007 – Actor Art Swenson of Cheney's Tomorrow Never Comes? and Recon 7 Down to voyage under water toTristan da Cunha from NY harbor USA. This is an almost 5,000 mile voyage in a home made solar powered mini Uboat. Voyage is expeted to take 3 month at a speed of 2 knots an hour.
  He will stock his mini sub with 20 cases of beer, 35 gallons fresh water, 12 cases of Romogen Noddles, 5 cartons of cigaretts,3 bags of dog food as he will be taking his dog. Swenson will leave on his voyage April 21 2007.

 When Swenson was asked why he stated. "Why not I'm not cast in anything right now, I think It will be a blast"

 There is to be a reality show of the making of the sub aswell as his voyage.
