Young Men Copy Celebs And Pick A Cravat

Britain's men are picking retro fashions, according to the UK's leading online tie retailer http://www.TieWarehouse.co.uk. It has revealed its top 5 best selling ties and cravats of summer 2007.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Aug 20, 2007 – Britain’s men are increasingly looking to retro fashions when picking a tie or other neckwear – with cravats making a huge comeback.

The UK’s leading online tie retailer http://www.TieWarehouse.co.uk has revealed its top 5 best selling ties and cravats for summer 2007.

The website’s Gary Baker said: “There have been photos of Jude Law and David Beckham wearing cravats in the last few months, and the trend has caught on. Younger men are happy to wear a casual or day cravat with an open neck shirt, pushing them to third in our top 5.”

Gary has watched real variety come into tie fashions over the last year.

He said: “Many men are looking for something different, rather than the normal run of the mill work tie. Ties with matching handkerchiefs or pocket squares are really popular again.

“But the best selling tie continues to be striped, the same as this time last year.”

The top 5 ties and cravats for summer 2007 are:

5. Bow ties
4. Novelty ties
3. Casual cravats
2. Plain ties with matching handkerchiefs
1. Striped ties
