Eagle's Earth Cree and Ojibway Historical Centre FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) –
Aug 17, 2007 – Nearly 7,000 years ago our grandfathers carved a life from this rugged land and created a culture that has managed to survive until today. Eagle’s Earth is the first and only First Nations tourism facility that depicts the way of our ancient Aboriginal people prior to the coming of the Europeans 400 years ago. There is no other historical center like this anywhere in North America. Experience a culture that is deeply connected with the lands around us. Immerse yourselves in traditions older than recorded history itself. Learn the spiritual ways of our resilient people as they have taught us from grandfather to children for thousands of years. Taste our foods, sleep like we have always rested, listen to our stories and songs.
Our opening pow-wow with guest singers, dancers and performers begins at 10 AM and all are welcome. The opening ceremonies will be broadcasted on Live cam for the world to see. Our historical center, historical village and other facilities on site will be free of charge for the public. Our First Nations restaurant and gift shop featuring local artists and crafts person will be open. Come, share in our ancient culture. We are located a 35 minute drive west of Hearst Ontario Canada on the Trans-Canada highway. Our web site is filled with the many pictures, stories, videos and sounds that express the spirit of the Cree and Ojibway people of Constance Lake First Nations. We welcome your visit. # # # About Eagle's Earth: Eagle's Earth offers an authentic and unique experience, located in one of the most beautiful and rugged areas in North America, Northern Ontario Canada. Eagle's Earth is a unique opportunity to experience first hand, First Nations life as it was 7,000 years ago; well in advance of European contact and influence with our people, one of the oldest Aboriginal groups still active today.
