Lake Placid, New York July 26, 2007 – The Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort and Suites is the only Resort in Lake Placid which has an organized Kids Activities Program. Each and every day kids and their families can participate in arts and crafts, recreational and group activities, games and contests. New Activities are listed daily on the Activities Board located in the front lobby.
All activities take place outside in the activities tent under the majestic Adirondack High Peaks. Kids are entertained by arts and crafts which includes sand art, bead art, tie dye t-shirts, make your own treasure box, picture frame and sun catchers while parents can enjoy some relaxation on the beach only a few feet away. Inclimate weather? No problem, the show still goes on in the Blackforest Room which overlooks the lake.
Activities, games and contests includes volleyball, wally ball, dodge ball, candy bar bingo, water balloon baseball, canoe races, soda bottle fishing contest and so much more.
“I made a pretty sun catcher and gave it to my mom. Nick was really fun and had a lot of cool stuff.” Says Sarah, Age 6 from Princeton, NJ. Her mother says, "Nick (Activities Director) was terrific. The program is a great addition for the kids.”
Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort also organizes KIDZ NIGHT INN in evening for kids of all ages. It includes a pizza party, arts & crafts, games, prizes, movies and best of all…NO PARENTS! Adults can enjoy a nice evening out knowing their children are being entertained safely.
