EDF chooses Supplier Scan to provide sourcing services

The partnership will help source and pre-qualify new suppliers globally for EDF in France, calling upon its extensive existing supplier databases.

Supplier Scan has a long-established pedigree and knowledge in supplier sourcing services.  This, partnered with Achilles’ existing customer contact, makes it ideally placed to work with EDF, a leading player in the European energy industry.

Supplier Scan is based in Nieuw Vennep, The Netherlands, and was founded in 2006 following the acquisition of the methodology, software and full rights of usage licence by Allan Skyner the former Manager of the proactive sourcing service at Eutilia N.V. The service was created in 2002, later being developed and further enhanced in co-operation with many of the Buyer clients into the online service of today.
