Under the Aetna UK banner, the ROBOPAC brand just keeps getting stronger and stronger. Introduced into the UK for the first time some 18 years ago, the name has become synonymous with quality and service. ROBOPAC offers a wide range of pallet stretch wrapping machinery to suit all operations, irrespective of the product being wrapped. Indeed, no other “end of line” item has such a broad appeal to such a diverse spread of Industry.
Still a very large market, it perhaps reached its peak some ten years ago but has remained fairly stable since. Unit numbers sold have remained the same for several years now with good year/bad year swings, but any growth brought about by companies moving from hand wrap to machine, has simply offset the steady contraction of the UK Manufacturing base.
Looking back over those years, only two names have remained constant throughout; ROBOPAC, showing the way through regular product development and quality and AETNA, leading the way with consistency, stability, consequence and service.
These strengths have ensured the continued building of their customer base, which now numbers over 3,000, and regular sales growth year-on-year is being achieved from a relatively static market. Currently Aetna UK is experiencing some 30% of their annual sales from existing customers.
In 2007, ROBOPAC have added new models to their range, and Aetna believe they can still supply the most competitive ‘like for like’ pallet stretch wrappers available - a machine for every application and every budget!
Aetna UK provides after sales service from their offices in Bedford. They also use their own regionally based UK engineers and advisors to support their many customers and believe that their team, which has been in place for many years, is now the most experienced in the United Kingdom. Aetna says that this is the area in which they have a serious advantage over their competitors and are confident that it is this level of service that has made them market leaders.
