Aug. 10, 2007 - PRLog -- SYDNEY, 7 August 2007 – Samsung Electronics Australia today launched the SyncMaster 275T LCD monitor- http://www.samsung.com/au/products/monitors/tft/tvmonitor/275t.asp Designed for professional users, the SyncMaster 275T offers premium performance and picture perfect image quality. This addition to the Samsung SyncMaster line-up has a 68cm/27” large-widescreen 16:10 format display and 1920x1200 resolution to handle multiple on screen applications in precise and accurate detail. The 275T is also the official monitor of the World Cyber Games National Final in Australia.

“For a professional user, like an architect or a graphic designer, attention to detail is an important feature when looking for the right monitor,” said Simon King, Product Manager – IT Display Solutions, Samsung Electronics Australia. “Today’s users need to work with numerous applications on one screen in order to maximise efficiency. The SyncMaster has the large-widescreen format to display all the applications a user needs, and in a resolution that enables them to see information more clearly.”

The Samsung SyncMaster 275T benefits professional users in industries such as medical, CAD/CAM design, architecture, finance and desktop publishing because of its premium performance. While its 1920x1200 native resolution allows a user to fit more onscreen at once, the patented Samsung S-PVA panel, with 97 percent Wide Colour Gamut CCFL technology, provides users with superior image quality and colour reproduction. The SyncMaster 275T has a 178/178 degree viewing angle and intelligently adjusts its backlight brightness to provide a Dynamic Contrast Ratio of up to 3000:1. Advanced 6ms gray-to-gray response rate ensures fast moving images are delivered without ghosting.

Recognising that today’s consumer works with multiple peripherals and media types, the Samsung SyncMaster 275T is able to connect to a variety of external inputs and sources. As a multimedia hub, the monitor supports VGA, DVI, Composite, S-Video, Component and USB and provides support for HDCP protected digital video content through it’s DVI port.

The Samsung SyncMaster 275T LCD monitor features an ergonomic design with a stand that offers Tilt, Swivel and height adjust features (up to 80mm).

As with every Samsung SyncMaster LCD monitor - http://www.samsung.com/au/products/monitors/index.asp, the SyncMaster 275T is covered by Samsung’s standard three year DigitAllexpress warranty. This Zero Pixel Defect policy offers onsite exchange service in the event of a hardware fault.

The SyncMaster 275T provides a clean, sharp and rich visual display, and with improved response rates that are ideal for fast moving action, this monitor is perfect for avid gamers. The 275T is  the official monitor of  the Samsung-sponsored 2007 World Cyber Games (WCG) Australian National Final being held  25-26 August at Sydney’s Luna Park.

“Following from the success of our SyncMaster 931C at the 2006 World Cyber Games, we increased the screen size without compromising on resolution. Looking ahead, the product specifications of this new monitor are sure to impress gamers in Australia and around the world during this year’s competition,” said King.
