Aug. 13, 2007 - PRLog -- (St. Louis, Missouri)  Live Blood Labs Microscopes, the most innovative company to provide microscopes for comprehensive blood analysis to date, announces it provides three new methods for better blood and blood cell analysis and imaging.

Live Blood Labs microscopes are capable of Phase Contrast microscopy, enabling the clear viewing of transparent blood cells with high contrast.  The higher contrast allows for the viewing of greater surface detail, a feature not available in other traditional microscopy methods.  Phase Contrast microscopy also allows the viewing of the general shape and contour of the blood cells, an essential factor when trying to study and understand the effects of improper nutrition in the body.

Live Blood Labs microscopes also provide microscopy equipment capable of Brightfield microscopy imaging, a technique used in the analysis of dry layer blood.  This method provides excellent analysis of dry blood by transmitting light right through the specimen.

Live Blood Labs microscopes also provide Darkfield Microscopy imaging, a technique wherein the specimen is exposed to light from the side, as opposed to the usual method of lighting it from behind.  This process leaves the background black, allowing the viewing of the normally minute features of the blood as the light reflects off its surface.  This method provides the most comprehensive and clearest imaging of blood cells so far, allowing for better understanding, analysis, and study of the blood and the effects of certain conditions of the body to it.

Live Blood Labs microscopes are equipped with a 150 watt illumination system specially designed to complement all the imaging systems, providing incomparably high resolution images for both live and dry blood samples.
