This process leaves the background black, allowing the viewing of the normally minute features of the blood as the light reflects off its surface. This method provides the most comprehensive and clearest imaging of blood cells so far, allowing for better understanding, analysis, and study of the blood and the effects of certain conditions of the body to it.
