The Renewable Energy Centre Partners with The Sustainability Show 2007

In continuing its fight against climate change, The Renewable Energy Centre announced today that it is supporting The Sustainability Show 2007, an exhibition aimed at educating the public about how to make a positive impact on the environment.

PR Log (Press Release)Aug 07, 2007 – Launched at the beginning of 2007, The Renewable Energy Centre website has already established itself as an authority website in the sector and is leading the way as a primary source of information and reference for the industry. Designed for businesses, individuals and organisations researching sustainable and renewable technologies, the website pulls together a wealth of resources into one central location.

As well as a practical introduction to the key areas of renewable technology, advice on installation and a regional directory of thousands of specialist contractors and suppliers, The Renewable Energy Centre sets itself apart from other similar websites by providing visitors with additional information including sources of grants and funding, a directory of local Energy Efficiency Advice Centres and a list of UK and International shows and exhibitions.

On 26th October 2007, The Sustainability Show will be launched at the iconic 02 in London, and The Renewable Energy Centre is pleased to announce their support of the first exhibition of this kind in the UK. With the mutual aim of raising awareness about the consequences of climate change, the partnership hopes to demonstrate how businesses and the general public can work together, to make a positive difference.

Through product demonstrations, seminars and one to one discussions, the three day exhibition will inform the public what both small and large organisations throughout the UK, are doing to help the environment.

The Sustainability Show’s unique interactive approach provides a ‘hands on’ experience for visitors in order to demonstrate practical solutions for everyday life encourage energy saving and recycling and promote a positive attitude to sustainability.

Richard Simmons, Founder of The Renewable Energy Centre stated “We are delighted to support The Sustainability Show and help to meet the mutual goal of raising awareness about renewable and sustainable technologies. We felt it was important to promote the show as it will give visitors the rare opportunity to speak with the people and companies behind the new products and ideas aimed at saving our planet in the future. By raising awareness about The Sustainability Show we hope to provide visitors with a better understanding of how simple it can be to integrate practical solutions to reduce energy wastage in their everyday lives.”

The Renewable Energy Centre is the first online UK directory of its kind to announce support for The Sustainability Show. The website also provides a service which will help to raise awareness among homeowners and enable them to make informed decisions about renewable energy for their home.

The Sustainability Show runs from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th October and offers free admission to all members of the public.
