“In recognition of the work that MilanIN has done to promote the usage of LinkedIN in Italy, LinkedIN is pleased to designate the MilanIN club as an official supporter of LinkedIN”.

Summer 2007, the thoughts running to the upcoming holiday season while tons of paperwork and other stuff piled up on our desks. Then we got the news: Milanin has been designated official supporter of LinkedIN, the first one in the world, in recognition of the work the Club has done to promote the usage of LinkedIn in Italy.

We worked hard to prepare this meeting with Linkedin management and even before to build the Club in these two years. A big thank to Milan-IN's President Pier Carlo Pozzati, advisor Sean Carlos, the Board of Milan-IN, personally to Massimo Brembilla and also the Marketing & PR team for their support. Massimo Brembilla, Milanin co-founder, visited Linkedin HQ to conduct these meetings and got the well deserved and renowned title from Ms. O’Donnell, Linkedin VP of International development.

The award says: “It is largely to members like you that Italy is one of the LinkedIN top ten countries. LinkedIN values the work of your organization and recognizes the benefits of bridging the offline-online gap in professional networking today”

We’re proud of this official acknowledgment of our work and our belief in the power of networking becomes stronger as both members and organized events continue to grow.

Thanks again to the Milanin teams and to all the members from those actively participating to those who met us just for a short chat.

Happy Holiday season and see you in September!
