You can find high school senior, Katy, and her whimsical, happy watercolors, in the gallery next to Linda, Christopher and William’s more sophisticated impressionist, abstract and surreal pieces. Jessica prefers crafting modern art; while Anna displays her own beautiful creations with pen and ink on batik material. There are also prize-winning, nationally known artists, such as Nina and Beverly, who present their delightful oils on canvas. Together, this network of artists showcase their array of oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels and gouoache in beautiful pieces of abstract, impressionist, surrealist, monoprint, engraving and sketch work. You can find it all within this creative group, and new artists continue to join the team every week. Their passion is reflected in this statement from Christopher, “I live for art; without it I would be less of a person.”
The artists’ talents do not end there. Many of them also sell prints of their work, handmade greeting cards, home décor, jewelry and fashion accessories. These creative pieces add to the multitude of like items from many other vendors also on the site. BargainBelles allows each vendor to remain unique, yet bring their own special flavor to the group as a whole.
