London, UK – 24 July, 2007 – Creativity Software Ltd., Rough Guides and Samsung Mobile have jointly announced the availability of Rough Guides Mobile on Samsung’s Fun Club portal in the UK. This mobile application, which has been developed by Creativity Software Ltd., provides destination data through a navigable map interface - a drill down service that takes users from a continent overview to street level detail.
The Rough Guides Mobile application provides information on more than 200 cities in 33 European countries, including maps for every single point of interest (POI) - over 15,000 across Europe. POI’s include sights, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, campsites and hotels, among others. The application also allows “on the fly” change of language from and to English, German, Italian, Spanish and French.
Samsung Fun Club is a website where Samsung mobile owners can send e-cards, e-messages, upload photographs and download cool stuff like ring tones, wallpapers and Java games on to their mobiles. Apart from downloads, the Samsung Fun Club is also an information hub for all Samsung Mobile phone related queries, handset information and mobile accessories.
