As title sponsors of last Friday’s prestigious Sandhurst Polo Ball, the action-packed season for La Chamiza has progressed apace with Heritage Day on 17th June featuring wine tastings run by Lucy and Miles of the Jascots Wine Merchants team. The recent RMAS Polo Day Charity Tournament on Thursday 12th July included La Chamiza Polo Amateur Torrontés and Malbec 2006 tastings, branded merchandise and prize presentations by Nicky Burston (Director of World Wine Agencies) and all profits from wine sales on the day were donated to the RMAS Polo Club.
Commenting on the success of the Sandhurst partnership, Nicky Burston said:
“It’s a total pleasure working with Barbie and Darren at the RMAS Polo Club. They share our passion for both the sport and Argentine wines and we really appreciate the tremendous support they’ve shown us so far …”
The next highlight in the RMAS Polo agenda will be the Heritage Cup on Delhi Day, Sunday 12th August. Players will be kitted-out in period costume to mark the revival of the original Polo Club of Sandhurst from 1885 and the day will include an exclusive Mens and Ladies match - ‘England Ladies vs The Rest of The World’ - playing to an anticipated crowd of over 2,000 guests.
