In its latest employment survey, financial staffing leader, Accounting Partners, reports that 32% of employees polled work more than 50 hours in a work week with 10% working more than 60 hours a week. "With talent in such short supply, a lot of our clients are having to work overtime to get everything done. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day." comments President, Ted Macauley. "Increased deadlines, streamlined operations, and new stringent reporting regulations are some of the causes of the long work days."
